 In a significant step to advance international cooperation in vocational education under the Belt and Road Initiative and to facilitate the sharing of industry-education resources between China and Indonesia, the school successfully hosted the “Silk Road Skills, Smart Manufacturing Together” 2026 Robotics TrainingProgramfor Indonesian Vocational Educators.    Organized under the framework of the China-Indonesia Vocational Education Industry-Education Alliance, the camp took place from June 27 to July 4, 2026. A group of core engineering facultyeducators from various Indonesian vocational institutions participated in the program, completed all training modules, and received certificates of completion.

Vice Presidentof ZJIETQiu Leiming attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech, in which he briefly reviewed the school’s development history and its achievements in internationalizing education. He expressed his hope that vocational educators from both countries would learn from each other and that the training program would serve as an opportunity to build a long-term cooperation platform for deepening bilateral program co-construction and joint faculty development.

Leveraging the specialized strengths of the School of Precision Intelligent Manufacturing in the field of industrial robotics, the trainingprogramoffered curriculum covering robotics, artificial intelligence, big data, and related disciplines. It also incorporated cultural study sessions and enterprise visits, aiming to broaden industrial perspectives and fosterculturalexchanges. The program enabled Indonesianeducators to gain a comprehensive understanding of smart manufacturing production lines, real-world industrial robotics applications, and the current development landscape of China’s robotics industry, while offering an immersive experience of Chinese-style modernization.


The professional course provided systematic training in robotics development, programming practice, AI and big data applications, AIGC tool utilization, and AI-empowered teaching methodologies, strengthening theeducators’ technical expertise and digital teaching capabilities in a well-rounded manner.

 During the outdoor study sessions, the Indonesian delegation visited West Lake to appreciate the millennia-old cultural heritage of the Jiangnan region, and toured Feikuo Technology and the Xiaoshan Robot Expo Center, where they gained first-hand exposure to cutting-edge domestic robotics technologies and industrial strengths.

In the practical training sessions, the participants made use of the laboratory’s 3D printing equipment and robotics R&D platforms for immersive hands-on exercises in bionic dexterous hand assembly, program debugging, and operational training. These activities enabled them to acquire development skills in smart manufacturing and deepen China-Indonesiavocational education exchanges.

Looking ahead,ZJIET will continue to advance China-Indonesia vocational education cooperation, enrich the content of the “Chinese + Vocational Skills” program, and Continuously expanding the platforms for cross-border educational initiatives, so as to inject sustained momentum into the mutual learning, growth, and success of young people from both countries.
