ZJIET Participates in China-Brazil University Leaders Dialogue Event at the Global Institute of Educational Leadership

On June 16, a delegation from the Association of Presidents of Brazilian State and Municipal Universities visited the National Academy of Education Administration and attended the China-Brazil University Leaders Dialogue Event of the Global Institute of Educational Leadership. Zhu Rui, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education, and Mao Dongmin, Director of the Division of American and Oceanian Affairs of the Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges, were present at the event and delivered relevant policy briefings. Wu Gangqun, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of ZJIET, participated in the roundtable dialogue session as a representative of the 76th Advanced Training Class for University Leading Cadres (the 16th Session for Higher Vocational Colleges).

Themed "Innovation in Higher Education Institutions Empowering Regional Development,"​ the event focused on hot topics such as classified development of universities, integration of industry and education, and cultivation of application-oriented and skilled talents. In-depth discussions were conducted through keynote speeches and roundtable dialogues, where participants shared institutional experiences and exchanged ideas on development strategies.

During the roundtable dialogue, Wu Gangqun introduced to the Brazilian delegation of university presidents and all attendees the unique practices and achievements of ZJIET in "Building a New Paradigm of Collaborative Education between Industry and Education across the Entire Chain."He pointed out that the institute adheres to the core philosophy of "running education rooted in the region, developing specialties around industries, and cultivating talents tailored to job positions."It deepens the "Six Integrations"—namely, integration of resources, specialties and industries, courses and job positions, supply and demand, school and locality, and China and foreign countries. Leveraging the Student Goal Navigation Project, the institute refines its personalized education system, seamlessly linking various stages to create a coherent talent cultivation pathway that empowers high-quality regional industrial development.

This presentation comprehensively showcased the innovative measures taken by ZJIET in areas such as industry-education integration, international cooperation, and student cultivation. It fully promoted the institute's vocational education characteristics and brand highlights, effectively enhancing its reputation and influence.
