On April 4, the volleyball competition (Group B & C) of the 17th Zhejiang Provincial University Games successfully concluded. As the first event of this provincial games, it brought together over 500 athletes from 27 universities across the province. The men's volleyball team of our institute fought their way through the tournament, claiming the championship with an undefeated record and achieving a groundbreaking "zero gold medal breakthrough"for our institute in this event. The women's volleyball team also strived with determination, securing sixth place in the competition.
In preparation for this major quadrennial event, the coaching staff and athletes worked in unity and gave their all. The head coaches meticulously selected players and devised scientific preparation strategies, tailoring training plans to the characteristics of each athlete. The team members trained assiduously, continuously honing their skills and refining their tactics, laying a solid foundation for their performance on the court. During the matches, the players demonstrated orderly offense and defense, seamless coordination, and showcased the high-spirited, tenacious, and striving demeanor of our institute's athletes.
This achievement is a fruitful outcome of the institute's steadfast commitment to the integration of the 'Five Educations' and its deep cultivation of physical education.
