Party Secretary Liu Xiuli fully affirmed the achievements made in all tasks over the past year and expressed sincere gratitude for the hard work of all faculty and staff. She pointed out that 2026 marks the beginning of the institute's 15th Five-Year Plan period, a year of leadership transition, and a crucial year for all-out efforts in the Double High-Level initiative and key project completion. The entire institute must consistently establish and practice a correct view of performance, enhance four types of awareness: integrating immediate and long-term goals, focusing on implementation, reforming and innovating, and seeking progress while maintaining stability. It is essential to anchor objectives, advance tasks progressively, work in unity, tackle challenges, and promote a positive interactive situation featuring high-quality Party building as the guide, high-level security as the safeguard, and high-quality development as the driver—a "trinity coordination." She emphasized that to propel the institute's high-quality development, five key aspects must be addressed: adhering to Party building leadership to firmly steer the direction of high-quality development; strengthening confidence in development to tightly grasp the opportunities for high-quality development; remaining true to the original aspiration and mission to focus on cultivating high-caliber skilled talents; upholding down-to-earth efforts and tangible outcomes to build a strong, growth-oriented team supporting development; and guarding the bottom line of risks to collaboratively create a high-level safe development environment. She called on all faculty and staff to conscientiously implement the spirit of the provincial Party committee's first major meeting of the new year, vigorously promote the "Six-Doing" work style, focus on the word "implementation," and unify high positioning, practical action, and genuine results. Everyone should shoulder their responsibilities without hesitation, ensure tasks are completed thoroughly, and use solid work achievements to propel the institute's various undertakings to new heights.
President Guo Fuchun deployed the institute's 2026 work, proposing key measures from three dimensions: clarifying the positioning for development, understanding the logic of vocational education development, and implementing practical and effective actions.
