Amid the refreshing autumn air and a joyous campus atmosphere, the Institute successfully held its 42nd Athletics Sports Meet on October 29th and 30th. International students from the School of International Education actively joined in, demonstrating great enthusiasm and competitive spirit. Their involvement in the opening ceremony performances and various athletic events fully showcased the vitality and sportsmanship of students from around the globe. The School of International Education was honored with the "Best Presentation Award" for its contributions.

During the opening ceremony, a distinctive contingent of 53 international studentsmarched into the sports ground with high spirits. Student representatives from Russia, Thailand, and Vietnam, dressed in traditional attire and holding their national flags, greeted the audience with smiles and performed a vibrant dance. The performance was highlighted by a stylish breakdance led by Leo (Le Yue) from Russia, which ignited the arena with rounds of applause and cheers.
A total of 27 international studentsfrom the college participated in the games, representing a participation rate of over 50%. They competed in multiple events including the 100-meter dash, 1500-meter run, 4x100-meter relay, grenade throw, long jump, and high jump. Striving their best and supporting each other, they fully displayed the athletic talent and positive spirit of the international student community. Leo achieved an excellent result by securing 7th placein the men's grenade throw event.

The active presence of international students at this sports meet served as a prime example of the Institute's commitment to internationalization and the harmonious integration of diverse cultures. Looking forward, the college will continue to build extensive and diverse platforms to support the all-round development of international students, thereby continuously enhancing the "Studying at ZJIET" brand.
