    To broaden the international perspectives of students and faculty and enhance cross-culturalcommunicationskillsand comprehensive professionalcompetencies, Zhejiang Institute of Economics and Trade (ZJIET) successfully organized a summer study camp in Australia from September 5 to 14, 2025. Nine participants from various secondary colleges of ZJIET took part in the camp and completed all study tasks with outstanding results.

      Prestigious University Visits: Inspiring Minds.The delegation was invited to visit several renowned higher education institutions, including the University of Sydney,Sydney Institute of Vocational Education and Training, andSydney Institute of Animation and Design.Through thematic lectures,classroom learning, and on-site observations, the participants engaged in professional studies and cultural exchanges, gaining firsthand insights into cutting-edge developments in vocational education.This immersive cross-linguistic environment significantly improved their language proficiency and international collaboration skills.

    Industry Research: Empowering Practice.The group deepened their understanding of Australian industry and social culture by visitingrepresentative agricultural enterprises such as local ranches and cheese workshops.These experiences provided practical knowledge about the critical role of vocational education in supporting industrial upgrading and talent development.

    Cultural Exploration: Immersive Experiences.The itinerary included visits to cultural landmarks such as the National Museum of Australiaand the Sydney Opera House, allowing participants to gain a deeper appreciation of Australia’s historical context and social structure while experiencing the mutual learning and integration of diverse civilizations.

    Over the ten-day program, the study camp employed a tripartite educational model—vocational education exploration, industrial practice, and cultural immersion—that effectively enhanced participants’ global understanding and cross-cultural communication skills. The camp also strengthened friendly cooperation between ZJIET and Australian institutions.
