Teachers of ZJIET were invited to the China-Philippines Seminar on Digital Skills Development and signed a cooperation agreement on China- Philippines curricula design

From April 25 to 28, upon the invitation of the Philippine Federation of Vocational and Technical Education and Training (UniTVET) which is subordinated to the Philippine Technical Education and Skills Development Agency, teachers from the ZJIET International Exchange and Cooperation Center and the School of Information Technology attended the China-Philippines Seminar on Digital Skills Development in Manila, Philippines. The meeting was streamlined at the meantime. More than 200 representatives from vocational colleges and enterprises of the two countries attended the meeting.



Lu Chunyang, the executive deputy director of the National E-commerce Vocational Education and Teaching Guiding Committee, the Council chairman of the Belt and Road E-commerce Valley Integration of Industry and Education International Cooperation Development Project, and Onofre Gregorio Enosencio, president of the Philippine Vocational and Technical Education and Training Federation, unveiled together the Belt and Road E-commerce Valley (Manila) Cooperation Center. Representatives from more than 50 institutions of the two countries signed contracts on the curricula design and certification issuance of the e-commerce courses provided by the Belt and Road E-commerce Valley (Manila) Cooperation Center.




The International Exchange and Cooperation Center Director Si Yinxia signed on behalf of the school the cooperation memoranda with ASIAN ENTREPRENEURS TECHNICAL INSTITUTE(AETI) and four Philippine schools. As a representative of the Chinese institutions, she made a report titled Jointly Construct Schools to Share Resources and to Cooperate for a Win-win Situation—the Innovative Practice of Internationalized Vocational Collegiate Schooling in the New Development Scenario, where she shared the achievements of international education of ZJIET and the innovative practice and education efforts in the China-Philippines school-enterprise cooperation that integrated production and education.




In the course demonstration seminar, Si Yinxia introduced on behalf of the course developing team the co-construction of the courses by the Chinese and the Philippine teams. Hu Jian, deputy dean of the School of Information Technology made a report on the course development ideas and the essential and challenging points of Online Shop Operation (E-commerce Operation) course. Zou Yujin, a teacher from the School of Information Technology, made a presentation on the competence standards making of the E-commerce Data Analysis course. Eight teachers from the School of Information Technology, the School of Business Administration, the School of Humanities and Tourism, and the International Exchange and Cooperation Center were awarded the e-commerce international course development expert demonstration certificate and the teacher training certificate issued by UniTVET and the E-commerce Valley Project Development Council.



 During their visit, the school delegation participated in the first phase of teacher training activities of the Belt and Road E-commerce Valley (Philippines) International Cooperation Center. They had been to the Zhejiang General Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines and the Sino-Philippines Silk Road College Foundation, where they had in-depth exchanges on the teacher and student visits in the second half of the year. They walked around on the ZJIET Silk Road College campus, visited classrooms and offices to further promote the high-quality development of China-Philippines Silk Road College of Economy and Trade.
