Nearly 200 representatives of institutions from China and other countries, experts and scholars attended the conference. The high-quality development of vocational education in China and Hungary in the context of global education reform was discussed. As a co-organizer of this event, the ZJIET president Chen Dequan was invited to attend the meeting.
ZJIET was selected as one of the first institutes in China to develop the Hungarian National Vocational Education Digital Resource Library Curriculum Standards and Digital Curriculum Development Project. Chen Dequan was invited to attend the launching ceremony of the project where on behalf of the school, he signed the Memorandum of International Cooperation in Vocational Education between China and Hungary with the Chinese Council of the British National Diploma and Degree Assessment and Certification Center and the EU-China Belt and Road Cultural Education Tourism and Economic and Trade Development Committee.
During the conference, an international teacher training program was also run with the theme of benchmarking EQF/HuQF when developing international vocational education curriculum standards and a practical path of high-quality international vocational education development. Three teachers from ZJIET participated in the training and gave speeches on topics of the ZJIET internationalization practice, the international professional standardization, curriculum standards and digital curriculum development, vocational education going abroad, and the expectations for future cooperation between China and Hungary.
In the future, ZJIET will take this conference as an opportunity to deepen the educational exchange and cooperation with Hungary. Focusing on the key professional fields demanded by Hungarian universities and Chinese enterprises, ZJIET will integrate the advanced digital intelligence development experience of Europe with its rich and diversified vocational education resources to carry out the construction of digital curriculum resources. A high-quality vocational education platform with international vision is to be built to meet the needs of the industry, to keep up with the paces of the times, and to further improve the school's high-quality development in serving the Belt and Road initiatives.
