On September 11th, Onofre Gregorio Inocencio, the President of Philippine Association of Technical and Vocational Education and Training, and Hongyang ZHANG, the President of Philippines-Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce, and other nine persons came to the institute for inspection and exchange. The President, Dequan CHEN, and Party Committee member and Vice President, Lijun JIANG, attended the symposium, along with heads of various secondary schools, the International Exchange and Cooperation Center, and relevant faculty members.

Dequan CHEN, on behalf of the institute, warmly welcomed the delegation from the Philippines and briefly introduced the institute's background, development history, and unique academic features. He emphasized the institute's experience in international education, its achievements, and initiatives in China-Philippine vocational education development. He noted that the institute actively integrates with and serves the 'Belt and Road initiative', considering overseas teaching sites as an important gateway to expanding international education cooperation. Through this exchange, he expressed the hope that both sides could deepen collaboration in the Silk Road Institute and E-commerce Valley projects, jointly create a high-quality cross-border e-commerce talent development platform, and facilitate in-depth cooperation between universities, businesses, and governments in both regions, ultimately achieving a win-win situation in international industry-education integration and university-enterprise cooperation.

Onofre Gregorio Inocencio expressed gratitude for the warm reception from the institute and for the institute's contributions to advancing educational exchanges between China and the Philippines. He looks forward to promoting mutual learning and integration of technical and vocational education standards between the two countries through the construction of the China-Philippines Silk Road Institute and China-Philippines E-commerce Valley projects. He hopes that this cooperation will lead to new collaborations in talent development, social services, cultural exchange, and result in even more fruitful outcomes.

Hongyang ZHANG, in her remarks during the exchange, expressed that the goal of establishing the China-Philippines Silk Road Institute is to leverage the cultural and educational resources and cooperation potential between the two countries. It aims to provide a platform for education and exchange for young people from both nations, create more employment and development opportunities, and hopes that through collaborative efforts from various parties, it can continue to leverage its own advantages and contribute to the economic and social development of both countries.

Chairman Onofre Gregorio Inocencio and his delegation also visited the institute's Digital Brain Operations Center, Digital Craftsman Institute, and the Integrated Training Base for Biotechnology and Food Technology, gaining in-depth insights into the institute's distinctive program development achievements and governance model.
