The School of Business Intelligence provides five higher vocational majors, namely, E-commerce, software technology, computer application technology, computer network technology, franchising and management. Along with Zhejiang Gongshang University, the school has built two bachelors degree upgrading majors, i.e., computer science & technology and E-commerce. E-commerce major is a national backbone major, a provincial advantage major, and a provincial characteristics major, while software technology major is a provincial characteristics major and a provincially renowned major. Faced with the new generation of information technology and E-commerce industry, the school has trained high-end technical and skillful talents working on the first-line positions to adapt to the needs of enterprises. Around the omni-channel digital operation and its key supporting technologies, the school has set up an E-commerce professional group, which is selected into the high-level professional groups with Chinese characteristics. The Sino-Finnish cooperation in E-commerce education (in cooperation with the Finland Haaga Helia University) has been licensed by the provincial government and started enrolling students in 2023. There are a total of 75 faculty members in the school, among whom 56 are full-time teachers, five have professor ranking and 18 are associate professors. More than 90% of the full-time teachers are capable of both operation and teaching. There is a part-time teacher pool with more than 50 tutors working in enterprises. The school has a total of more than 2,800 students enrolled in bachelor’s degree programs (further education), higher vocational education programs, three-school co-educated programs, five-year programs, and cooperative education programs with foreign schools, adding up to a total of 62 classes.


The School of Business Intelligence adheres to the leadership of the CPC, getting hold of the construction of both the party work and the professional teaching with the guarantee of an innovative mechanism construction. It promotes the omni high-quality development by deepening the integration of production and education and focusing on the virtual construction. The school has achieved outstanding results in terms of party building, curriculum construction, textbook development, team building and so on, demonstrating its leading position.


The CPC led professional education. It is a creative construction to build the 1111 party work matrix, which means to optimize 1 party building mode (learning together--practice in groups—develop in multiple dimensions party building mode), create a model of 1 party branch setting up “1” party building brand and 1 party member committing “1” action, and build 1 teacher-and-student development platform. It integrates the advantages of the national model branch of p02arty building (E-commerce teaching and research office party branch), the construction of a provincial benchmarking school, included into the national double-high plan construction. By strengthening the party-oriented education with a highlight of the vocational education characteristics, the school has been built into a benchmark of vocational education that integrates with the national double- high plan.


The modeling reform of vocational education. The faculty team of the school has directed programs winning a first and a second prize of the national teaching achievements, and two first prizes of the provincial and ministerial teaching achievements. Some of them have directed the development of the national higher vocational education rural E-commerce teaching standards and the provincial vocational college integrated E-commerce teaching standards. One national high-quality course is taught online, one political science course is honored national demonstration course; three provincial high-quality open courses are taught online; two political science courses are honored provincial demonstration courses. The team has directed three sub-projects of vocational education teaching resource bank. Eight of their published textbooks are selected into the 13th Five-Year Plan national vocational education planning materials, ten into the 14th Five-Year Plan national vocational education planning materials, and 18 into the provincial key textbooks and the provincial political science curriculum. One of the teaching brigades has been selected as one of the first batch national vocational education innovative teaching teams, one demonstration teaching team of the Ministry of Education political science curriculum, one is entitled a Huang Danian teaching team of Zhejiang, one is selected into the first batch of the Zhejiang middle and higher vocational teaching innovation teams. There is one teaching master enlisted in the provincial 10,000 renowned teachers plan, two provincial level professional leaders, and one provincial teaching rookie star. The team has established, as the leader, the national cooperation community of E-commerce major, has directed the national education reform projects investigating into the first batch of national innovative teaching teams in E-commerce, and has effectively guided the education reform in E-commerce in other colleges.


Quality and efficient production and education integration. The school has led the establishment of a new-generation national product-education integration community in computer application industry, a production-education integrated alliance of the national digital economy and the modern agriculture circulation, and the first county level agriculture product E-commerce technology collaborative innovation center in the country. It has continuously consolidated the high-level production-education integration platform, providing strong supports for the school-enterprise technological innovation and talent training. In the past five years, the school has won a bronze medal in the World Vocational College Competition and more than 20 awards in the National Vocational Competitions. By the in-depth cooperation with the top E-commerce companies and the new generation of information technology leading enterprises, such as Huawei, New H3C, NetEase, Zhengcaiyun, Deep Convincing, IFlytek, One Network One Creation, Haikang Robot and so on, the school has four programs selected into the Ministry of Education supply and demand docking employment project, two as provincial modern apprenticeship projects, one provincial on-site engineer project, one provincial vocational education typical production practice project, one provincial virtual simulation training base, and three provincial industry-university collaborative education projects.


Extensive social services. The school adheres to the improvement of both the capacity of serving the society and the level of vocational education. In recent years, it has cumulatively undertaken more than 10 teacher training programs in Zhejiang province, such as the secondary vocational E-commerce 'double capable' backbone teacher training, online shop running and promotion certificates teacher training and East-West cooperation young teacher training. It has participated in more than 20 rural E-commerce training programs, such as the provincial rural industry revitalization leader cultivating project, Zhejiang thousand rural CEOs training program, go to Awati County, Xinjiang, to give technological support, and so on. It has also participated in international cooperative E-commerce training, Lancang-Mekong modern agriculture practical technology and poverty reduction exchange and training programs. As directors, the school team has finished more than 50 technical projects for various enterprises, creating economic benefits of more than 100 million yuan. The technical service and training practice of the school has been widely praised and formed a wide-spread influence.
