There are 62 faculty members in the School of Digitally Intelligent Accounting and Finance. Among them, 40% have the title of associate professor or above, more than 90% are qualified both in teaching and operation, more than 90% of the teachers have a master's degree or above, and a few of them have won the honorary titles of Zhejiang renowned teachers, Zhejiang province 151 talents, Zhejiang province outstanding teachers and so on. More than 2,000 students are currently enlisted. Waiting for them are high-quality employment opportunities, a high proportion of further studying, and a high-level studying abroad talent development channel.
The four applied majors provided are big data and accounting, big data application in finance and taxation, wealth management, and financial technology. The previous major of big data and accounting, or accounting, was evaluated as an Eleventh Five-Year Plan Zhejiang province characteristic major, a Twelfth Five-Year Plan central government sponsored major, and a thirteenth Five-Year Plan Zhejiang province advantage major. The previous big data application in finance and taxation, or taxation major, was a demonstrative major of China Supply and Marketing General Association and a backbone major of ZJIET. The previous wealth management major, or investment and finance major, was a backbone major of ZJIET. The predecessor of the financial technology application major, or the Internet finance major, is still growing.
Adhering to culture, profession and practice in education, the school has been educating students with culture and profession and training them in practice. As a national model party branch, the CPC branch of the school always leads talent training with the party culture, creating a communist party culture brand and a series of cultural education activities, which in turn raises the students' quality, improves the students' cultural understanding, and facilitates the physical and mental growth of the students.
The teaching teams of the school are expert at intelligent finance and taxation, big data accounting, financial data analysis, quantitative investment research, finance and taxation services, and so on. Students have won many awards in the national accounting competitions, the national intelligent finance and taxation competitions, Zhejiang province digitalized finance and accounting competitions, Zhejiang province statistics competitions, Zhejiang province ERP sand table simulation competitions, Zhejiang province banking competitions, Zhejiang province innovation and entrepreneurship competitions and so on.
The college has established a few on-campus practice bases, such as Intelligent Finance and Taxation Data Center, Financial Data Factory, Intelligent Finance and Taxation Sharing Center, and Finance and Taxation Accounting Department, creating a new model of higher vocational finance and accounting teaching, leading in the national higher vocational finance and accounting education teaching with new technology. The enterprise sand table training room, VR training room, Quantitative Investment Research Center, Credit Management Research Center, Financial Technology Center and other school-enterprise cooperation training rooms are advanced in the country. Besides, more than 30 tight-scheduled practice training bases have created an excellent teaching environment for training digital financial talents in the era of big data.
