School of Precise Intelligent Manufacturing provides majors of new energy vehicle technology, intelligent optoelectronic manufacturing technology (digital design and manufacturing technology), industrial robots, integrated circuit technology and so on. There are now more than 400 students enlisted, 22 staff members, and 13 full-time teachers, three of whom are professors, six associate professors, and four lecturers. One professor is ranked as a provincial professional leader, two are assigned as Hangzhou special commissioner in science and technology for their excellence, and one entitled Zhejiang artisan. The school mainly serves the upper, middle and downstream industrial chain of optoelectronic semiconductor manufacturing enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta. Stemmed with intelligent optoelectronic manufacturing technology and integrated circuit technology, based on industrial robots, and applied to the new energy vehicle technology, the school trains a large number of professionals with craftsmanship spirit who are nimble operators and knowledgeable artisans, who know management and are good at collaboration and innovation.
The school has established close school-enterprise cooperation with many well-known enterprises in the province, such as Hangzhou MDK Opto Electronics Co., LTD., Zhejiang Jinchang Group, Zhejiang FAW-Volkswagen, Zhejiang Dahua Technology Co., LTD., Sanhua Group, Hangzhou Sanpool CNC Equipment Co., LTD., and Hangzhou XZB Technology Co., LTD. Such a tie provides a solid guarantee for the quality of professional personnel training. Over the years, students have won more than 30 provincial awards and four national awards in skill competitions.
